Eligibility
All students aged 13-18 are eligible
Project and Submission Requirements
All of the requirements listed below are required unless stated otherwise:
- A brief description of the project, uploaded as a PDF, including the following:
- Minimum length: 1/2 page
- Maximum length: 2 pages
- All team members' names, listed clearly
- Category of the submission
- Title of the submission
- The project's "problem" clearly stated at the top (What issue does your project address?)
- A brief description including the following:
- What your project does
- How your project addresses the problem and provides a viable solution
- A video displaying the project's functionality
- Link to GitHub repository (required)
- Zip file containing the submission's code
DO NOT ZIP THE VIDEO AND PDF WITH THE ZIP FILE! Each component must be submitted seperately on the submission form.
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Judges will determine the winner based on the following categories:
- Vision: Project must have a clearly stated "problem" described in the cover page, and the completed code must address the problem.
- Functionality and Usability: Project must demonstrate a clear way of remedying the problem using the code.
- Presentation: Project functionality will be assessed by looking at the video submission. Points will be given for clarity and effectiveness in presenting the finished product.

Adherence to Submission Category: Contestants are required to submit their project under three of the following categories, and judges will determine how well each submission fits the category under which it was submitted:
- AI
- Business
- Medical
- Complexity of Code: Additional points will be granted to teams that incorporate advanced concepts in code. The awarding of these points is at the judges discretion, as is what will be counted as "advanced code."
- (AI Category Criteria) Use of AI in Submission: For contestants submitting a project under the AI category, AI must be incorporated in the project in some way. This criteria is not required for the other categories.
